Peacekeepers
Our exceptional teaching staff, known as the Peacekeepers, are here as guides to help your little yogis explore, learn, create, play & grow! They provide a safe, loving environment while sharing their knowledge of mindfulness, social and emotional learning, yoga, gardening, art, language and nutrition. Our yoga curriculum is created from years of experience working with tried and true methods and we consistently expand and modify it to meet the needs of our younger generation.

An
Founder & Chief Peacekeeper
An was born in Vietnam and raised in Houston. Somewhere along the way she became a citizen of the world, backpacking and volunteering with kids on nearly every continent she could reach. That journey taught her something simple but powerful: the more we understand ourselves, the more peace we can offer others.
She found yoga in college in 1996 and never looked back. When her daughter arrived in 2007, that quiet passion turned into a calling, bringing mindfulness to kids, one wiggly, giggly pose at a time. An collected certifications the way she collected passport stamps, including trainings with Rainbow Kids Yoga, Karma Kids Yoga, special needs yoga, a 200 hour certification, and Reiki I & II. Her architectural design degree from UT Austin shows up in every learning environment she creates, each one built with intention and purpose that feels like a deep breath.
Before opening Yoga Peace School in 2012, An brought yoga to high school teachers, students in Title I schools, and adults with special needs, a reminder that calm and connection belong everywhere, not just on a yoga mat in a studio. These days, she's still chasing inspiration around the globe and bringing it home to YPS, in service of one simple mission: to spread peace with a little more acceptance, a little more tolerance, and a lot more love.
